I’m a creative director who isn’t creating enough.
I spend my days helping other people bring ideas to life.
But somewhere along the way, I realized I was spending more time directing creativity than practicing it.
And I think creativity is a practice — not a profession or a personality trait, but a vital part of what it means to be a person.
So this summer…
I’m taking myself to Creative Camp.
30 days. 30 creative adventures.
The rules are simple:
I use what I already have.
The easier the idea, the better.
Process over product.
Follow the “yes, and.”
And have fun.
Because… duh. It’s camp.
Every day, my random prompt comes from three things:
CREATE: a creative verb
EXPLORE: where I’ll look for inspiration
EXPERIMENT: the twist
Creative Camp is not about scaling or optimizing. It’s not about becoming more efficient or productive. It’s about becoming more available to imagination again.
I’ll share the prompt every day.
Steal it, remix it, ignore my rules, or invent better ones.
If you’ve been missing the creative parts of yourself, too…
I'm a creative director + brand strategist on a quest to create more for play, not for pay. So, I built a camp instead of a content strategy. 30 days, 30 creative adventures =
1. I pull a creative action verb from the Create Jar.
2. Then I spin a muse / medium with the Explore Spinner.
3. Finally, I roll the Experiment Dice for 6 possible twists.
Creative Camp is an experiment in wild, unoptimized creativity. And you're invited to come along. Welcome to camp.
