Thinking of your clients as businesses, not people.

Such an easy — and costly — mistake to make. It’s all in the name: BUSINESS 2 BUSINESS. But last I checked, robots don’t make buying decisions. And that’s basically what a company is: a machine of moving parts carrying out complex actions. Only, instead of cogs, those moving parts are PEOPLE.

In other words, “businesses” don’t make buying decisions. People do!
