Today, I launch TWO new & improved brands and I have never been so proud. Will you celebrate with me?
First the links, then the story:
Rachael Kay Albers: https://rachaelkayalbers.com/
RKA ink: https://rkaink.com/
Why two brands? In a nutshell:
RKA ink is my done-for-you brand. Hire my creative agency to help you rebrand your business and design a creative strategy for your messaging and marketing.
Rachael Kay Albers is my show-you-how-to brand. Learn how you can build an unforgettable brand of your own while you laugh all the way to the bank. Literally.
Before today, they co-existed. I had no intention of separating them.
But, the metaphor of “birthing” a brand applies here and let me tell you why.
Before I found out I was pregnant with Alice, I met with Kerri Van Kirk for a human design session. She told me that she felt a lot of energy coming up around me having a baby. I hadn’t mentioned to her that we were hoping to start a family. I didn’t even know I was pregnant yet. But somehow, she did.
I think it’s worth noting that while I straddle the world of spirituality and intuition because so many of my clients work in that space, I myself am a bit of a skeptic. So when I took a pregnancy test a few days later and it was positive, I was shocked and kinda mortified that I found myself “believing in magic.”
(But that’s the thing about miracles! They’re all “bullshit” until you experience one!)
Similarly, before I found out I was on the precipice of a new purpose in my business, I met with Sarah Ashman for birthday drinks. It was our first time meeting! She told me, in the midst of us talking about kids and creative direction, that she saw something bigger for me and my brand than what I was putting out there.
She saw my future!
Maybe it’s the champagne talking, but I feel like with today’s launch, I’ve moved beyond building a business and I’ve started to build a legacy.
I feel a sense of creative accomplishment in bringing these two brands to life that I have never felt before.
More on this in the days to come, but for now I am celebrating and would love for you to celebrate with me.
Thank you also to Nusrat Momin for helping bring this pixel alchemy to life (“photography” doesn’t do your work justice) and Jess Manuszak of Verve & Vigour for putting something into words I could only formerly explain by frantically shouting obscenities!
